Youngstown, OH – Join The Summit 90.7 FM for the “330 Day Concert”-- an eclectic and powerful evening of acoustic music – on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown, Ohio. This free evening of music will shine a spotlight on 10 of Youngstown’s finest bands and artists all on one stage for one night only.
This unique event is open to the public and will feature stripped-down, acoustic performances from a who’s who of Mahoning Valley musicians, including: The Vindys, JD Eicher, Demos Papadimas, East 9th, Candae Campana, Hayden Brooke, The Labra Brothers, Leanne Binder, Rolling Boxcar International and Barry Carroll. The event is being produced by The Shootouts lead singer and Summit Marketing Coordinator Ryan Humbert.
In 2015, the cities of Akron, Youngstown and Canton officially designated March 30 as “330 Day” on behalf of The Summit, and their local-music-only radio station, The330.net. This year, the “330 Day Concert” will spotlight the Youngstown region of the Summit listening area, as they celebrate over 10 years of spinning commercial-free music in the Mahoning Valley through a partnership with Struthers City Schools.
The event takes place just days after The Summit’s Spring Membership Drive (on air from March 21-25), which raises funds for the continued operation of this non-profit, member-supported public radio station. The concert is a post-pledge drive celebration for the members and community that support the station in all the Summit listening areas – Akron, Canton, Youngstown, and Athens, Ohio.
Summit members will receive preferred seating for this event and can RSVP via an invitation-only event link.
Doors open at 6:00 PM with music starting at 7:00 PM. Admission is free with a $10 suggested donation and all ages are welcome. Stambaugh Auditorium is located at 1000. 5th Avenue in Youngstown..
The event is presented in part by support from Stambaugh Auditorium, Forty-Two Event Production, and Struthers City Schools.
Please note: Proof of Covid Vaccination + ID, or negative Covid test within 24 hours + ID required for entry. Masks are strongly recommended. The Summit reserves the right to modify these policies as needed.
